If you look around online, there are common threads. People promoting one solution after another, I call them promo wheelers because they are just going round and round offering the next one-click solution to earn money. These people satisfy the shiny syndrome people’s quest for an easy way to earn money doing no work.

The other type is the person offering, often high ticket, promotions with no presence on the net. They are commission junkies most will be found on big promos with high commissions.

Then there are the people that will offer you a product that because you have some rapport with them and are on their list, they see as providing value to you. I will be honest it was only after I diagnosed why I brought from certain people it become obvious. They were helping me move away from a problem or helping in solving it or providing information to move me forward. In other words, they offer value. I still buy from at least 5 people and most often never even read the sales letter.

For you to offer value you need to have a perceived expertise in a subject. That’s why it’s often suggested that you find a niche in which you have knowledge or interest. If say your hobby is modifying cars, then you would have gained knowledge about various aspects of car customizing or engine modifications.

Likewise, if you are interested in something you are more likely to stick to it. Nothing worse than getting into say journaling and it’s something you don’t do or have any interest in.

To recap, remember value to your customers. Find something you are interested in and become a perceived expert in it. If you are an affiliate only promote to people that have an interest, desire, or need for the product or service. One last point don’t offer bonuses unless they are relevant to your main promotion. I know you have a ton of PLR on your drive but either repurpose it or put it onto a USB stick and free up your disk drive.

All the suggestions and information you will find on this website, plus if you sign up for my emails, will earn you money. Not a fortune but enough to give the pension a little extra help. None of the processes I will tell you about are difficult. Experience has taught me that the simpler the better.

To sell your own products you will need to gain skills and knowledge. From my experience, the best way is to do some form of affiliate marketing to begin with as you are not the product producer. However, take care what products you are an affiliate for as you need quality and value for money.

To give you an idea, to get people to buy from your affiliate link you will need to get them to your link and convert them into buyers. As you work at achieving this, you will become knowledgeable about SEO, free ads, paid ads, copywriting and using media channels for example.

To do it, to make money you will need to gain these skills, which as you are not creating the product means you can earn whilst you learn. The bonus is that all that knowledge will prove useful in the future for creating your own products.

The one very important point you should always keep at the back of your mind is VALUE. If you are promoting something does it, add value to your customers? If it doesn’t, then don’t promote it, especially if you are only offering it because it offers a high commission. Look 3 people buying a product that you get $10 dollars is $30 dollars a day do that with several products and you can earn $1000 dollars a month. Not life-changing but it’s money you did not have before.
