Pension Stretcher started life pre covid as it was becoming obvious that my pension would not provide my family with sufficient money to give us a little extra to, for example, use for buying extra bags of compost for the garden to grow out vegetables. It would not provide a fund should we need to make a house repair or keep our 10-year-old car on the road.
Hi there! I’m a 75-year-old pensioner and have been retired for 6 years now. I realised early on that my pension was going to need supplementing to create a contingency fund for those little things that life throws at you.
Prior to retirement I had tried Multi Level Marketing, selling on eBay, being an Amazon affiliate and gardening. I had made some money on all of them but there was very little continuity. I brought a load of PLR material and then spent so long changing and updating it that I run out of steam. I had become overwhelmed by it all.
I knew the internet was the way to go but did not know how to go about using it. Then I read a report by a Yorkshire man who explained that the people selling ” make money on the internet” made it too complicated and would leave out bits so you would fail. Why? Because then they could sell you more information or a software programme that you needed. This guy suggested that you only needed to follow the people who were making money and copy what they did.
So that’s what I did, I found successful people who were providing a service, selling information, or selling a physical product. The one thing they all had in common was a simple way to allow people to buy their products. More importantly, they had a simple system to gather email addresses.
The successful people used places like Warrior plus and JVzoo to sell information products. Etsy is used for digital downloads and print on demand (POD) products like mugs, pillow cases and cushion covers.
Fivvr is one marketplace where you can get front covers for both digital and printed books designed,. Then there is Amazon with it seller opportunities. They also offer an affiliate programme too.
Pension Stretcher.com is based on my experiences of the above and what I did eventually to make money online.
